The Center for Jewish Civilization (CJC) at Georgetown University has proudly hosted the Jan Karski Institute for Holocaust Education in summer terms since 2014. Designed for teachers of the social sciences, literature or religion, this week long intensive workshop provides educators with background, resources and updated perspectives for Holocaust education of middle and high school students.
Because funding for the 2018 summer term has not been realized, the Jan Karski Institute will be deferred until the summer of 2019. All efforts are being made to secure substantial support for this important contribution to Holocaust education at Georgetown University. We invite you to check our website in the Center for Jewish Civilization (https://cjc.georgetown.edu/karski) for periodic updates on our progress.
